Who Is UglyPizza™? |
No added fat. UglyPizza™ is an integral part of Eco-Building & Forestry, LLC., a Sustainable Landscaping Company located in Central Wisconsin. Hundreds of friends and customers have enjoyed UglyPizza™ at intimate gatherings. UglyPizza™ was created quite unexpectedly, after the company built an outdoor wood fired brick oven at the Girolamo residence. UglyPizza™ is different then an average pie in several ways. Instead of perfectly round, stamped pizzas, the pizzas are oddly shaped: sometimes round, usually oblong but never perfect in any normal description. The pies also taste better than any frozen or restaurant pie. These factors are both due to the cooking method. Hand rolling the pizza crusts created the odd shapes, and the use of an outdoor wood fired oven created the most incredible crust -crispy on the outside but soft and delicate on the inside. When the first pizzas came out of the oven, Tom assured guests "They may be ugly, but they're good!" And thus UglyPizza™ was born! As part of Eco-Building & Forestry's
commitment to the community, several auction items are donated to
various charitable groups each year. These auction items consist
of generous servings of Girolamo's UglyPizza™, fine wine, a tour of
the Sustainable Landscape Center, and time to relax in the gardens and
