Obviously, the way your property is illuminated depends on your lifestyle and the functions you envision for your destination. New technology now enables you to avoid the blinding house lights, mercury vapor pole lights, and obnoxious airport runway-type lights. Our landscape lighting plans are designed to be aesthetically pleasing with minimal impact on the environment and your utility bill. We focus on creative ways of using lighting to enhance the beauty of your home and property. Our options are low voltage systems - traditional 12-volt, an LED system, and solar.

Solid copper LED fixtures
are small, blend into the landscape, and last a lifetime |
LED Landscape Lighting Systems use less power, last longer, and can be solar powered. They can also use a traditional transformer and can be turned on or off automatically. While there is a higher initial material cost and lighting effects are somewhat limited, an LED system conserves energy, takes it easy on the environment, and minimizes light pollution. Our solid copper LED fixtures are small, blend into your landscape, and last a lifetime.
We had LED lights that worked well with a solar panel, simple controller, and a rechargeable battery. However, a nearby lightning strike damaged the LED’s in about 34 of 36 fixtures. LED’s can be susceptible to damage from voltage surges or even static electricity. We will be spending more time with this to decide if the lightning strike was a once-in-a-lifetime occurrence or if LED lighting is worth it. |
